The origin of The Ring, much like many Hollywood thrillers, is rooted in an urban legend. However, this time the story revolves around a haunting video tape filled with nightmarish images. Those who watch the tape receive a mysterious phone call, foretelling their death within seven days. Initially, journalist Rachel Keller approaches the story with skepticism. But when four young people who watched the tape die under strange circumstances one after another, her doubts begin to fade. Driven by her passion for investigative journalism, Rachel obtains the video tape and watches it herself. From that moment, her life is in grave danger—not only hers but also her son's.
